A protest is taking place outside the U.N. Office in
\nArmenia. Protesters’ demand is for the lifting of the Artsakh blockade.

The protesters note that the situation in Artsakh is
\ndeteriorating day by day.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
“As you can see, people experience the consequences of
\nthe humanitarian disaster firsthand. Someone’s relative died in Artsakh,
\nanother person’s father was abducted,” one of the protesters said.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
The protesters call on the U.N. to support Artsakh and avert
\nthe humanitarian crisis, noting that Azerbaijan is flagrantly violating
\nfundamental human rights.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
“Now, we are here, outside the U.N. Office in Armenia,
\nto present the problems besetting Artsakh. The civilized world remains silent
\nwhile Azerbaijan pursues a genocidal policy of ethnic cleansing in Artsakh. We
\nwill be able to have statehood<\/p>\n
only through ceaseless struggle and iron will,” one of
\nthe protesters said.<\/p>\n
