The former vice-rector of Yerevan State Medical University
\nis being searched for abuse of authority, misappropriation of funds and money

According to the Investigative Committee, the vice-rector of
\nthe university left Armenia after his interrogation. ABC Media discovered that
\nthe man being searched is former YSMU Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic
\nAffairs Karen Harutyunyan. The latter is Armen Ashotyan’s godson and close
\nfriend. He is charged in connection with the same case. <\/p>\n
“The testimony or one of the testimonies against him
\nwas given by a person who used to be under arrest and was released after the
\ntestimony. Enough said,” Armen Ashotyan’s advocate Tigran Atanesyan said this
\nto ABC Media.
