The actions of Kyiv’s authorities and their Western backers are undermining U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow following talks with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.<\/p>\n
“The objectives pursued by Ukraine’s current leadership — objectives clearly fueled by Kyiv’s Western sponsors — are directed against the efforts of President Trump, with whom we are actively and concretely cooperating in the search for long-term and stable solutions aimed at addressing the root causes of the Ukrainian conflict,” Lavrov stated.<\/p>\n
According to him, representatives of the Kyiv regime have shown they are not interested in a fair and lasting settlement of the conflict.
