At least 35 people have been killed in the explosion at a
\ngas station in Makhachkala. According to RIA Novosti, the information was
\nconfirmed by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense,
\nEmergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

“Two more bodies have been discovered under the
\nrubble,” the ministry noted.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that three
\nchildren were among the dead. Sixty-three people were taken to hospitals,
\nincluding 16 children. Eleven people are in serious condition. Another 17
\npeople were given first aid and discharged afterward.

To remind, on Aug. 14, a fire broke out in Makhachkala.
\nAfterward, the fire spread through the gas station, and an explosion took
\nplace.
