The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey welcomed the joint
\nstatement issued by the Office of the Azerbaijani president and the Office of
\nthe Armenian prime minister regarding the release of prisoners.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
“We welcome the decision to take practical steps to enhance
\nconfidence between the two countries and support the decision to continue talks
\non additional steps to bolster confidence. We wish Azerbaijan and Armenia an
\nearly conclusion of a peace treaty, which will become one of the key events in
\nthe process of establishing lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus,”
\nreads the statement issued by the ministry.

To remind, yesterday, news came in about the exchange of 32
\nArmenian POWs held in Azerbaijan and two Azerbaijani servicemen held in
\nArmenia.
