The U.N. Security Council session on the humanitarian
\nsituation in Artsakh is scheduled for Aug. 16.

“Complying with the request submitted by Armenia, the
\nsession will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Aug. 16,” the U.S. Mission to the
\nU.N. stated.

The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Foreign
\nMinister Ararat Mirzoyan will leave for New York to attend the U.N. Security
\nCouncil emergency special session. The session will take place at Armenia’s
\nrequest and will discuss the aggravating humanitarian situation in Artsakh
\ncaused by Azerbaijan’s total blockade.
