\nArtsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan said this.

“It is most welcome that, considering the calls from
\nthe Artsakh authorities, the Republic of Armenia sent a letter to the President
\nof the U.N. Security Council with the request to hold an emergency session on
\nthe deepening humanitarian crisis caused by the total blockade imposed on the
\npopulation of Nagorno-Karabakh. The important thing here is that the aim to
\nprevent genocide is officially mentioned in the letter as well,” reads
\nArayik Harutyunyan’s statement.

The president of Artsakh also underlined the importance of
\ninternational pressure on the Azerbaijani aggression.
<\/p><\/p>\n\n
“We urge and demand that all major actors take
\neffective and practical steps before dreadful disaster strikes and genocide is
\ncommitted,” reads the statement.
