Pakistan intends to recognize Armenia as a U.N. member state, a step that would pave the way for Pakistan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), sources told TASS<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Pakistan is indeed planning to do this, and as a reciprocal measure, to reach an agreement on joining the EAEU,” one of the news agency’s U.N. sources said.<\/p>\n

Another diplomatic source stated that the necessary procedures could take anywhere from several weeks to a few months.<\/p>\n
