Russia’s Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has warned that establishing a no-fly zone over Ukraine and giving NATO countries the ability to shoot down Russian drones would amount to war between the Alliance and Russia.<\/p>\n
“Implementing the provocative idea of Kyiv and other fools to create a ‘no-fly zone’ over Ukraine and allow NATO countries to strike our drones means only one thing — war between NATO and Russia,” Medvedev wrote on Telegram.<\/p>\n
He also commented on the visit of Estonia’s Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur to Kyiv, saying that the smaller a country is, the more foolish and overconfident its leadership tends to be.<\/p>\n
The day before, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated that NATO and the European Union should discuss the potential establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukraine.
