We attach great importance to the calls made at the highest
\nlevel by the United Nations, the European Union, the Council of Europe and
\nother respected international actors for the immediate lifting by Azerbaijan of
\nthe illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor. At the same time, it is evident
\nthat such appeals have no impact whatsoever on the leadership of Azerbaijan.
\nThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh made a statement.

It is mentioned in the statement that in a climate of
\nimpunity and complete lack of accountability, Azerbaijan continues its
\ngenocidal policy and subjects 120,000 people of Artsakh to starvation, creating
\nunbearable living conditions for them.<\/p>\n
“The recent statements coming from Azerbaijan about the
\npossibility of using alternative routes for the alleged delivery of
\nhumanitarian aid to Artsakh, once again demonstrate that Baku is using the
\nblockade as a weapon and a means of exerting pressure on the people of Artsakh.
\nThe Azerbaijani authorities exploit the suffering of people and the
\nhumanitarian catastrophe they have created in order to achieve their political
\ngoals. Such actions and behavior by Azerbaijan must be strongly rejected by the
\ninternational community as inhumane.<\/p>\n

In this regard, once again, we strongly urge all concerned
\nstates, international organizations and other actors to move from words to
\naction in order to put an end to the international crimes committed by
\nAzerbaijan against Artsakh and its people,” reads the statement.<\/p>\n
