Thirty-five years ago, on this day, Spitak, Gyumri,
\nStepanavan and Vanadzor were shaking. The earthquake measuring 6.8-7.2 on the
\nRichter scale completely destroyed the town of Spitak and 58 villages. As a
\nresult, 514,000 people found themselves homeless. 11:41 still makes the
\nearthquake survivors shake. They remember how the ground cracked within
\nseconds, how buildings and schools were destroyed.
