More than 67% of respondents do not trust Nikol Pashinyan’s
\nanswers given during his press conference. Head of MPG – Gallup International
\nAssociation in Armenia Aram Navasardyan said this at the press conference.<\/p>\n
People were first asked if they had watched the prime
\nminister’s press conference that took place on July 25. Sixty-five percent of
\nthe respondents answered in the affirmative, 35% in the negative.<\/p>\n
“The next question was how much they trust Nikol Pashinyan’s
\nanswers. According to the survey, 16.1% of the respondents completely trust,
\n14.5% rather trust, 13.1% rather do not trust, 54.4% do not trust at all and
\n1.8% found it difficult to answer. As we can see, more than 67% of the
\nrespondents have no trust in Pashinyan’s answers. In fact, this is quite a
\nlarge percentage,” Navasardyan noted.<\/p>\n

People were asked if today there are political prisoners in
\nArmenia or not. Thus, 47.2% answered in the affirmative, 31.1% answered in the
\nnegative and 22.7% found it difficult to answer.<\/p>\n

“The index has never been so high, at least in the past 13
\nyears, when we have been conducting surveys on political issues. Moreover, we
\nasked 47.2% of the respondents to mention the names of political prisoners, if
\nthere are any. In response, 43.9% mentioned Armen Ashotyan, 23.7% the leader of
\nthe Public Voice party, Artak Galstyan, 24.5% the elected Mayor of Vanadzor,
\nMamikon Aslanyan, 5.2% mentioned names of other people and 39.7% found it
\ndifficult to give certain names,” he said.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
The next question was about the major problems facing the
\ncountry. With this regard, the majority of the answers were about security
\nissues. Thus, for 32.4% the most serious problem facing Armenia is the threat
\nof war, for 30.7% the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, for 30.4% security issues, for
\n27.8% border issues. Other problems were also mentioned, namely the economic
\nsituation, unemployment, inflation, return of POWs, change of power, etc.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
When asked if it is acceptable for them that the population
\nof Artsakh is given status of national minority within Azerbaijan, 88.8% of the
\nrespondents answered in the negative, noting that it is absolutely
\nunacceptable.<\/p>\n
