Both Armenia and Azerbaijan fully recognize each other’s territorial integrity, Azerbaijani envoy Murad Muradov told reporters on Monday during the 108th Rose-Roth NATO Parliamentary Assembly seminar in Yerevan.<\/p>\n
“We are confident that the peoples are against conflict and are ready to begin the process of normalizing relations,” Muradov said.<\/p>\n
According to Muradov, the only potential obstacle to the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan could be Armenia’s Constitution, which “contains territorial claims.” He added that Azerbaijan’s Constitution “does not contain such claims.”<\/p>\n
When asked whether Baku plans, as a gesture of peace, to return the top military-political leadership of Artsakh and other prisoners held in Azerbaijan, the official said:<\/p>\n
