At a U.N. Security Council meeting, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz called<\/a> on Russia to refrain from violating the airspace of NATO member states.<\/p>\n

“I once again call on Russia, as a permanent member of this Council, to uphold international peace and security, respect the sovereignty of its neighbors, and stop violating their airspace,” Waltz said.<\/p>\n

He noted that the United States and its allies will defend NATO territory against any potential threats.<\/p>\n
