On the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Russia’s foreign ministry says<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The closed-door meeting lasted more than 50 minutes.<\/p>\n

According to Russia’s foreign ministry, during the meeting in New York, Lavrov and Rubio confirmed their mutual interest in finding a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian crisis.
