The next Armenian who is declared persona non grata and is refused
\nentry into her homeland is Areni Markosyan. Yesterday, it became known that she
\nwas kept waiting for hours at the airport and was refused entry into the
\ncountry.<\/p>\n
Areni Markosyan took part in almost every demonstration held
\nby the Armenian community of the East Coast of the U.S.. One of the latest
\ndemonstrations was staged against Azerbaijan, calling for the end of the
\nblockade of Artsakh.<\/p>\n
NA MP Kristine Vardanyan told ABC Media that the
\ndemonstrations in which the young ARF member took part, were aimed at the
\nprotection of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination and at
\nthe protection of Armenian interests.<\/p>\n\n
“She took part in both massive demonstrations and in
\nnumerous protest actions staged by the AYF (Armenian Youth Federation). The
\ndemonstrations were also about the unblocking of the Lachin corridor, the right
\nof the people of Artsakh to self-determination and the policy adopted by the
\nArmenian authorities,” Kristine Vardanyan said.
