Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has announced that the
\nimplementation of the North–South Transport Corridor project will be on the
\nagenda for the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. As TASS
\nreports, the Iranian president said this at Mehrabad International Airport
\nbefore leaving for Russia.

“Both countries strive to implement the North–South
\nTransport Corridor project, and one of the items on the agenda for the meeting
\nis the acceleration of its construction process,” he said.

The Kremlin reported talks are scheduled for Dec. 7 in
\nMoscow between Putin and Raisi. The parties will discuss bilateral economic
\ncooperation, as well as regional and international issues.
