Since the very moment when the Republic of Armenia
\nrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, leveling criticism at the
\nRussian peacekeepers has not been a proper thing to do. Russian Foreign
\nMinistry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said this today during her weekly
\nbriefing.<\/p>\n
“Russia continues to support the idea of the
\nnormalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We do our best to
\nestablish peace in the South Caucasus,” she said.<\/p>\n

Drawing attention to the recent meetings, Zakharova noted that
\nthere can be no loss of momentum in talks.

“We should face up to reality. Does Nikol Pashinyan
\nwant the withdrawal of the Russian peacekeepers from Nagorno-Karabakh in this
\nsituation of the humanitarian crisis?
<\/p><\/p>\n
Manipulation with words will lead to a bad end. There is no
\nroom for double standards,” Zakharova said.
