The operational hub of the EU Mission in Armenia was
\nestablished in Kapan.

During the opening ceremony, Head of Mission of the EUMA
\nMarkus Ritter noted that they plan to have six forward operating bases in the
\nRepublic of Armenia.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
“We are already one step closer to the implementation
\nof our plans. The major operational hubs are located in Martuni, Goris and
\nJermuk. And now another one is established in Kapan. After this, we plan to
\nestablish hubs in Ijevan and Yeghegnadzor.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
This hub in Kapan is of crucial importance from a military
\npoint of view. Thus, we will be able to deliver regular reports on the
\nsituation. And this will allow us to save time spent on roads, as until now we
\nwere located in Goris,” Ritter said.<\/p>\n
