U.S. President Donald Trump, who had earlier called for a halt to airstrikes, announced that Israel had agreed to stop the movement of its forces beyond a designated line in Gaza. Once Hamas confirms the agreement, the ceasefire will take effect immediately, and no further military operations will be carried out.<\/p>\n

Meetings are being prepared in Egypt for security and peace negotiations, involving representatives from Hamas, Israel, the U.S., and Qatar. Hamas has already accepted several key provisions of Trump’s 20-point proposal, including ending the war, the withdrawal of Israeli forces, and the release of prisoners, though some issues remain under discussion.<\/p>\n
