Today, a 68-year-old citizen of the Republic of Artsakh was
\ndetained by Azerbaijan. He was one of the patients who were being transferred
\nto RA hospitals under ICRC mediation. From the checkpoint he was taken to
\nanother place, Artsakh State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan reports.<\/p>\n\n
“At the moment, the ICRC representative is with our
\ncitizen. However, negotiations still prove unsuccessful. We are waiting for
\nfurther updates. An ICRC representative from Goris accompanied the rest of the
\npatients to hospital in Goris. These patients were also on their way to RA
\nhospitals when the incident happened. As for the citizens who received
\ntreatment in the Republic of Armenia, they cannot return to Artsakh as the ride
\nwas canceled,” the state minister said.
