U.S. President Donald Trump has been included on the list of candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize, El País<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

“Although the list has not been published, it is known that Trump is among the nominees,” the Spanish newspaper reported, citing Nina Graeger, director of the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO).<\/p>\n

According to the report, 338 nominations were submitted this year, including 244 individuals and 94 organizations.<\/p>\n

Graeger noted that while the sitting U.S. president could receive the award, it is considered unlikely. She highlighted negative aspects of Trump’s policies, including his highly “entrepreneurial” approach to peace negotiations, Washington’s withdrawal from global agreements, the ongoing trade war, and statements suggesting Greenland should become part of the United States.<\/p>\n
