Peru’s legislature has unanimously voted to impeach President Dina Boluarte, citing the country’s escalating crime rates, according to news.ru<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The security situation in Peru has deteriorated significantly, leading to a vote of no confidence against Interior Minister Juan José Santiváñez in March. In May, Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén also resigned.<\/p>\n

The report notes that since June 7, 34 lawmakers have officially supported the impeachment of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This number must reach 36 to initiate the process.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that on Oct. 8, the French Parliament rejected a motion to impeach President Emmanuel Macron.
