In Madrid, on Spain’s National Day, activists staged a protest against colonialism and the exploitation of indigenous peoples by pouring red paint on a painting of Christopher Columbus. The incident took place at the Naval Museum, according to El País<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Museum security quickly detained the activists and escorted them out of the hall.<\/p>\n
