U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff said he has visited the Gaza Strip to monitor the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire by Israel.<\/p>\n
“Admiral Cooper, Jared Kushner, and I traveled to Gaza today to check Israel’s compliance with the first phase of the agreement,” Witkoff wrote on X.<\/p>\n
According to Witkoff, they were briefed in detail on security issues, humanitarian aid, and conflict prevention measures.<\/p>\n
