During a speech in the Knesset, U.S. President Donald Trump praised Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid as a “very nice opposition leader” and a “nice man”, NBC News<\/a> writes.<\/p>\n

“He is a nice man, Bibi; he is a nice man. Now you can be a little bit nicer, Bibi, because you’re not at war anymore, Bibi,” he joked, using Netanyahu’s nickname.<\/p>\n

During his speech in the Knesset, Trump also suggested<\/a> ending the investigation into Netanyahu.<\/p>\n

“Mr. President, why don’t you pardon him? Whether you like it or not, he has become one of the best war leaders,” the U.S. leader said.<\/p>\n
