Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan made a statement
\nannouncing his decision to end the sit-in. He also evaluated the outcomes of
\nthe protest actions staged last week and referred to future actions.

He stated that due to the efforts they made and the measures
\nthey took, international pressure on Azerbaijan has increased.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Harutyunyan called on the representatives of other states to
\nfollow Armenia’s example and provide Artsakh with humanitarian aid.
<\/p><\/p>\n
“Every instrument, be that political, humanitarian, or
\nof any other kind, should be put to use in order to increase the pressure to
\nopen the Lachin corridor. In this regard, the authorities of Artsakh consider
\nall possible scenarios and measures, in order to be able to resort to them when
\nneed arises,” Harutyunyan wrote.

He noted that the sit-in, the nationwide movement and the
\nrest of the measures have already produced certain results in that they managed
\nto draw the attention of the international community and prompt them to take
\npractical steps.
<\/p><\/p>\n
“I have decided to end the sit-in and redouble my
\nefforts as the holder of the office. Meanwhile, our compatriots continue
\nholding sit-ins and other actions. As for me, I will have regular meetings with
\nthem so that we can discuss our further actions,” he wrote.
