The rector and vice-rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University have been arrested as part of a criminal case led by the Anti-Corruption Committee, the committee told ABC Media<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They are accused of forming and leading a criminal organization made up of several university employees, as well as embezzlement, fraud, and accepting bribes in particularly large amounts.<\/p>\n

Several other university staff members have also been detained within the same case.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the university’s spokesperson Diana Markosyan told ABC Media<\/strong> that certain actions were being carried out at the institution as part of an investigation, and that the rector held the status of a witness at the time.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
