During the meeting, they referred to the<br>\nmeasures that have been taken and are to be taken to protect the interests of<br>\nArtsakh, ARF Public Relations Office report.<p><\/p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;We discussed the process of fulfilling the agreements<br>\nreached during the July 6 Brussels meeting. We also referred to our further<br>\nactions. In this regard, once again the participants highlighted the importance<br>\nof the fact that more than 470 European organizations became party to the<br>\nletter addressed to the European Council, the European Commission, the European<br>\nParliament, as well as the leaders of the member states of the European<br>\nCouncil, within the framework of the &ldquo;Europeans for Artsakh&rdquo; movement,<br>\naimed at lifting the continuous and illegal blockade of Artsakh.<p><\/p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of<br>\nthe Republic of Artsakh thoroughly presented the grave situation in Artsakh in<br>\nterms of humanitarian crisis and security. It was concluded that effective<br>\ninternational measures should be taken to avert the imminent disaster.<p><\/p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Special reference was made to the current unacceptable<br>\nstance of the European Union toward the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the<br>\nnegotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and especially to President<br>\nof the European Council Charles Michel&rsquo;s troublesome statements. The meeting<br>\nparticipants deemed it unacceptable that the EU, in fact, justifies the policy<br>\nof ethnic cleansing and continuous atrocities adopted by Azerbaijan, thus going<br>\nagainst the values cherished by the EU itself. The European Council should<br>\nexercise political will and, being caught in the dilemma between values and<br>\nbusiness, should stand in favor of values, thus averting the next Azerbaijani<br>\natrocities against humanity.<p><\/p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting also discussed matters regarding the need to<br>\nincrease support for Artsakh and lift the blockade, the need to provide<br>\nhumanitarian aid and to impose sanctions against the military and political<br>\nleadership of Azerbaijan. They also referred to further actions to be taken in<br>\nother directions. Highlighting the importance of placing the EU leadership<br>\nunder constant pressure, publicizing the criminal actions of Azerbaijan and the<br>\nnecessity to resolve the conflict of Artsakh, the representatives of Armenian<br>\ncommunities agreed to maintain and expand this platform, as well as to conduct<br>\nsuch meetings on a regular basis, in order to enhance efficiency.<p><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; \">The meeting participants once again expressed their<br>\nunwavering support for the heroic people of Artsakh, appreciating their titanic<br>\nstruggle for the sake of their homeland and dignity,&rdquo; reads the statement.<p><\/p><\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leaders of Armenian communities in twelve European countries held an online meeting on July 24.
