Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan referred to the
\nstatements made by the Armenian authorities during his press conference with
\ninternational media.

With regard to the right of the people of Artsakh to
\nself-determination, he said: “No country in the world has the right to
\ndeny us our right to self-determination. I call on the Armenian authorities to
\nbe more circumspect about their statements. The right to self-determination is
\na principle of international law, and we enjoy this right today as well.”
<\/p><\/p>\n
He called on the Armenian authorities to show circumspection
\nin their statements. According to Harutyunyan, Artsakh will carry on its
\nstruggle for self-determination, regardless of all kinds of statements.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Arayik Harutyunyan is also ready to enter into a dialogue
\nwith Baku, if Baku respects the rights of the people of Artsakh and adheres to
\nthe principle of equality.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Harutyunyan also referred to the issue of the Lachin
\ncorridor, the total blockade and the crucial importance of opening the
\ncorridor.
<\/p><\/p>\n
\n<\/p>
He noted that the Russian peacekeepers based in
\nNagorno-Karabakh also face a food shortage and use the limited food supplies
\nthat the people in Artsakh have.
