MP Taguhi Tovmasyan from the opposing NA With Honor faction
\nwent to court to be restored to her powers as Chair of the Standing Committee
\non Protection of Human Rights. The MP said this today during her briefing.

“I demand that my powers be restored, as the overall
\nprocess was totally illegal,” the MP noted.
<\/p><\/p>\n
According to Tovmasyan, her incapacity for work was reported
\nto the president of the National Assembly in advance.

To remind, the ruling Civil Contract (KP) faction terminated
\nthe powers of Taguhi Tovmasyan as the Chair of the Standing Committee on
\nProtection of Human Rights. The reason for the termination of powers of the
\nopposition deputy, as set out by KP was that she failed to take part in the NA
\nsessions.
