Kyiv and Moscow are nearing a diplomatic path to end the war in Ukraine, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has acknowledged the current front line, DW<\/a> writes, referring to Russia’s Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev.<\/p>\n

“I believe that Russia, the United States, and Ukraine are actually quite close to a diplomatic solution. President Zelensky has taken a major step by already accepting that this is the frontline,” Dmitriev said in an appearance on CNN.<\/p>\n

The Russian representative added that Ukraine’s leader had previously demanded the complete withdrawal of Russian forces from the territories they currently occupy.<\/p>\n
