\ngave a speech at the Special Meeting of the Permanent Council called by Armenia.

“We remain deeply concerned about the ongoing disruptions to
\nthe Lachin corridor and the associated humanitarian consequences for the local
\npopulation. We support the International Court of Justice order of February
\n2023 for Azerbaijan to ensure unimpeded movement along the Lachin corridor in
\nboth directions,” he said.
<\/p><\/p>\n
The ambassador also mentioned that the UK calls again on all
\nparties to refrain from the politicization of humanitarian aid.
<\/p><\/p>\n\n
“In order for the civilian population to be protected, it is
\ncrucially important for organizations such as the International Committee of
\nthe Red Cross to be able to continue to carry out their work in this region,
\nwhere their operations provide access to essential goods and services,
\nincluding life-saving medication and health care,” Holland said.
