The individuals who stole jewelry from the Louvre attempted to flee to countries that do not have extradition treaties with France, the Daily Mail<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

The report concerns the two men who were arrested yesterday while trying to fly to Algeria and Mali. They are around 30 years old and are currently in custody.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that police are still searching for two more suspects.<\/p>\n

The four thieves stole nine valuable pieces of jewelry worth a total of €88 million from the Louvre’s Apollo Gallery in full view of the public.
