Zakharova noted that the Russian peacekeepers were based in
\nArtsakh based on the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020. However, Turkey
\nis not a party to that statement.

“Preservation of peace in the South Caucasus is in the
\ninterests of Azerbaijan, Armenia and the entire region, including Turkey. Thus,
\nwe emphasize the importance of cooperation with our Turkish partners with
\nregard to the joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center in the district of
\nAghdam,” Zakharova said.
