Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in a discussion titled “At the Crossroads of Leadership” as part of the 8th Paris Peace Forum. Here are some highlights from his speech:<\/p>\n

We have peace, and it is a reality. This is a historic change not only for our bilateral relations with Azerbaijan but also for our region as a whole.<\/li>\n
Armenia and the United States will jointly implement the “Trump Route” project for the sake of peace and prosperity.<\/li>\n
Opening the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan will allow the creation of open communication routes connecting the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, and the Black Sea.<\/li>\n
Armenia will have railway connections with Iran, Russia, and Central Asia.<\/li>\n
After some time, we and Azerbaijan realized that there could be certain common interests.<\/li>\n
I believe that establishing diplomatic relations with Turkey and opening the border with Turkey is only a matter of time. There are currently no obstacles. I believe it will happen, and we will be normal neighbors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
