After the meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat
\nMirzoyan in Vienna, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg stated
\nthat the blockade of the Lachin corridor must be lifted.<\/p>\n
He noted that Austria had previously advocated strongly for
\na civilian EU mission in Armenia to support the path towards stability and
\nsecurity.<\/p>\n

I am grateful for the strong commitment of the EU and the
\ntalks in Washington. It is going in the right direction and I hope that one day
\nthere will be a sustainable peace agreement. However, there are still many open
\nquestions that need to be discussed. Among them, there is a humanitarian
\nconcern that greatly worries us – the blockade of the Lachin corridor. This
\nblockade must end!” the Austrian Foreign Minister stated.<\/p>\n\n
