The Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia presented
\nan ad hoc report on the violation of human rights as a result of the
\nAzerbaijani aggression in the direction of Yeraskh.<\/p>\n
The document reveals cases of violation of human rights
\nrecorded by the Ombudsman as a result of the fact-finding operations in
\nYeraskh.<\/p>\n
From June 13 to June 14, 2023, fire was opened on the
\nsettlement of Yeraskh from Azerbaijani military positions. Yeraskh
\nmetallurgical plant, which is being constructed through foreign investments,
\nwas shelled rather heavily. Two Indian citizens got wounded and transferred to
\nhospital as a result.<\/p>\n\n
As a result of the actions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces,
\nthe civilian population had their right to life, right to integrity of the
\nperson, right to property, education and work, freedom to conduct a business
\nand a number of other fundamental rights violated.
