The European Union has allocated a new tranche of €1.8 billion to Ukraine, bringing the total amount of EU assistance provided to Kyiv since 2022 to approximately €180 billion, according to a statement published on the EU Council’s website.<\/p>\n
European Commissioner for Economy Valdis Dombrovskis announced on Oct․ 23 that since February 2022, the EU has already provided Ukraine with around €178 billion in total support, including €63.2 billion in military aid.<\/p>\n
“Ukraine will receive €1.8 billion in funding following the Council’s decision to proceed with the fifth regular disbursement under the country’s financial assistance program.
