In one of the world’s most remote and untouched regions — East Greenland — a floating cabin has appeared on Airbnb, the BBC<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

“If a polar bear comes you couldn’t be in a safer spot. Just get inside and lock the door,” says Nicco Segreto, the cabin’s owner.<\/p>\n

The small green hexagonal cabin is tethered to the shore with two sturdy ropes and an anchor. Isolated from the rest of the world, it features a glass ceiling designed for stargazing and viewing the northern lights.<\/p>\n

The cabin accommodates two guests and costs 7,347 Danish kroner (about $1,145) per night, including dinner and breakfast.<\/p>\n

Nearby lies a glacial cave that Segreto accidentally discovered 10 years ago. Since then, he has guided around 400 visitors to the site and now plans to open a luxury wilderness retreat there.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
