A train carrying Russian wheat (15 wagons) has arrived in Armenia, passing through the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia, the Armenian Government reports.<\/p>\n
“The lifting of restrictions on cargo transportation to Armenia by Azerbaijan is an important step toward restoring regional communications and promoting economic cooperation,” reads the Government statement.<\/p>\n
According to the Government, this development represents one of the practical implementations of the agreements reached in Washington and contributes to the institutionalization of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
