The British Embassy in Yerevan makes a statement on ICRC
\nactivities in the South Caucasus<\/p>\n
“The International Committee of the Red Cross has for many
\nyears carried out crucially important work in the South Caucasus, including
\nalong the Lachin Corridor, where their operations help support the local
\npopulation obtain access to essential goods and services, including life-saving
\nmedication and health care.<\/p>\n
The UK government strongly supports the activities and
\ncontinued work of the ICRC. The UK calls on all parties to refrain from the
\npoliticization of humanitarian assistance,” reads the statement.
