The ICRC office is the only international organization in
\nArtsakh that is deemed an impartial source of information, reporting the
\ncurrent situation in our country. Artsakh State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan said
\nthis outside the ICRC office in Artsakh.<\/p>\n
“I regret to announce that according to the information we
\nhave, the complete picture of the situation in Artsakh is not presented to the
\ninternational organizations. Words of gratitude apart, I would also like to
\nmention that, next to all of this, Azerbaijan only allows us to transfer people
\nto hospitals one by one when they are in a critical condition and are near
\ndeath. Let us not consider this mercy toward the people of Artsakh,” the state
\nminister said.<\/p>\n
He stated that the people of Artsakh are not begging for
\nmercy.<\/p>\n
“I reserve the right to demand on behalf of everybody that
\nin the shortest possible time, the ICRC office in Stepanakert undertake the
\ninitiative to provide all international organizations with the most accurate
\ninformation on the situation facing Artsakh, namely being denied access to
\ndrinking water supplies, medicine, proper medical care, and many other
\nproblems, such as movement restrictions, the incident of children’s death and
\nthe reasons for the overall situation,” the state minister said.
