Georgian rescuers have discovered the bodies of 18 out of 20 people killed in the crash of a Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft, Georgian Interior Minister Gela Geladze stated, RIA Novosti<\/a> writes.<\/p>\n

Turkey’s Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that a Lockheed C-130 Hercules military transport plane had crashed in Georgia, killing 20 people. Ankara is coordinating the search and rescue operation with Tbilisi.<\/p>\n

“There were 20 people on board. The bodies of 18 have been recovered. The search continues for the remaining two. I am in constant contact and coordination with Turkey’s Interior Minister,” Geladze said.<\/p>\n
