Yerevan Council of Elders elections are scheduled for Sept.
\n17. Until then, a number of political forces have already officially announced
\ntheir participation in the elections. Among them are Tigran Avinyan, Mane
\nTandilyan, Natalia Rotenberg, Ruben Hakhverdyan. There is no lack of candidates
\ncontending for the office of the Mayor of Yerevan.

Several political forces, namely the Hayrenik (Homeland)
\nparty, have considered the possibility, but have not made a final decision yet.
\nThey think that it is too early to talk about it.
