Turkey does not lay claim to the territories of other countries, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said during a session of the ruling party’s parliamentary group in the country’s Grand National Assembly.<\/p>\n
“We are not interested in appropriating any country’s territory. We do not interfere in the internal affairs of other states and fully respect the independence of every country,” the Turkish president stated.<\/p>\n
According to him, Turkey supports the oppressed in Palestine, works for peace in Ukraine, and is doing everything possible to stop the bloodshed in Sudan.<\/p>\n
Erdoğan added that a comprehensive investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash of the Turkish C-130 military transport plane in Georgia.<\/p>\n
“The Ministry of National Defense will release the results after the investigation is completed,” he said.<\/p>\n
