About 15,000 children in Yerevan
\nare now on the waiting list for kindergarten enrollment. Around 8700 children
\nbelong to the senior group. That is, they were expected to graduate in
\nSeptember. The number of children on the waiting list will amount to 6000 in
\nthe autumn. The majority are children born in 2021, who are waiting for the
\nnursery group. However, not all kindergartens in Yerevan have a license to have
\nNursery groups.<\/p>\n\n

Every parent has the freedom to
\nenroll their children in the kindergarten they wish. However, on account of
\nqueues, many parents are not able to apply to the kindergartens near their
\nplace of residence or workplace. This causes problems especially for working
\nparents.
