Iran is considering transporting cargo to Armenia via the Nakhijevan railway route, Iran’s railways chief, Jabar Ali Zakeri, told Azerbaijani media.<\/p>\n
According to him, discussions were held with representatives of the South Caucasus Railways — Armenia’s railway operator — during the 83rd meeting of the CIS Railway Transport Council.<\/p>\n
The talks focused on delivering certain types of goods from Iran to Armenia through Nakhijevan.<\/p>\n
