Armenia and the European Union are entering a new phase of cooperation at the level of strategic partnership, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced today during a joint press conference with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.<\/p>\n

“We have elevated our cooperation to a strategic level, but this is not the limit of our ambitions. In March, the Armenian Parliament adopted a law on EU membership. Today’s meeting sends an important message: Armenia-EU cooperation is entering a new phase,” Mirzoyan said.<\/p>\n

The 6th meeting of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council is currently underway in Brussels. Following the session, Armenia and the European Union signed<\/a> the Strategic Agenda for Partnership.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
