Authorities in Canada are searching for an unknown individual who won 40 million Canadian dollars (approximately 28.6 million USD) in a lottery but has yet to come forward to claim the prize, INsauga<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

In October, an unidentified resident of Ontario purchased a lottery ticket. When the draw took place on Oct. 28, it was revealed that the ticket matched all seven numbers, making the holder eligible for the grand prize.<\/p>\n

More than a month has passed since the draw, yet no one has stepped forward to claim the winnings. It is known only that the winning ticket was purchased in Ontario’s Grey County. No further information about the winner is available.<\/p>\n
